Historical cartoon depicts a deputation of 3 men trying to influence the election, including Mr. Molson, with a horse-drawn carriage and driver, who approach the home of Dr. Lusignan, with 1 man and 2 women inside; 3 men (patriote supporters?) stand in front of the house and deputation, discussing their pay, and surveying the scene. There are 7 caption bubbles coming from various people in the scene. [Elections / Rebellion 1837?].

Molson I have come / with two other gentlemen as a deputation / from some of the electors, with a requesition [sic] / in the form of a letter containing a / suggestion for your adoption / for the preservation of Peace at / the Election [last word underlined] !!!! ; [A woman in a lower window of the house replies]: Oh No!_Me cant open dedore - you see I be so much trouble - / - .... me very much fraid dem / dam Scotch and de sacres Irelandais - perhaps / yo be some of dem .... ; [the men in the foreground talk about their pay and say]: ....
