There are 188 proofs done for a history book entitled "The Great Adventure" by Donalda Dickie (published 1950). In some instances parts of the proofs have been cut out with scissors; the list of items indicates which proofs have been cut and what has been cut of them. The chapter and page that each of the sketches appears in the book is also indicated. The illustrations deal with Canadian history from before the discovery by Columbus until the time the book was published., The Great Adventure received a Governor General's Annual Literary Award., Isn.
