9 Sketchbooks and 15 (approx.) large works. Sketches for political cartoons, mostly of FLQ trials, 1970-71., On 'Hi Art' board. - Captain Raymond Bellemare holds up a bloodstained pillow. Also on the edge of the witness box are various items of clothing, boxes containing blankets and gun pars. Judge Nichols sits at the bench reading from a book. Window frames with torn screens are leaned up against the judge's bench. A police guard sits impassively in a chair beside the bench., Since no cameras were allowed in court, this illustration was one used on the television news to illustrate the progress of the trial., These items were found with the body of Pierre Laporte in the trunk of the car where he was found. Other items came from the house where the murdered man had been kept, and from the house in Saint-Luc where the accused had stayed. Bellemare was called as a witness by the prosecution.
