Additional papers of Eva Langbord, largely documenting her career as an actress. Among the material is memorabilia, including childhood autograph albums 1926-1927, a University of Toronto report card 1931, and two programmes documenting Langbord's work as a young actress with the Standard Theatre in Toronto. Her acting career in New York, with Orson Welles, Burgess Meredith, Lillian Gish, and others, is documented in a scrapbook of programmes and reviews and in a prompt book for her role in Maxwell Anderson's "Winterset". There is extensive correspondence with her family in Toronto while she was in New York, including both her letters home and letters to her. Finally, there is documentation on Langbord's early career with the CBC as casting director, including a notebook containing notes describing her job and the setting up of television studios at the CBC in 1952, and the text of a speech for the National Theatre Conference in Halifax 1958.
