A bronze medal commemorating the life of Philip V (also known as Philip the Tall), King of France and Navarre (as Philip II) from 1316 until his death in 1322. He was the brother of Louis X and ascended to the throne upon the death of his nephew, John I of France.

The obverse side of the medal displays a bust of Philip V by Armand Caqué.

The reverse side of the medal is engraved with a short history of Philip V.
