A bronze medal commemorating the life of Louis VI of France (also known as Louis the Fat), son of Philip I and King of the Franks from 1108 until his death in 1137.

The obverse side of the medal displays a bust of Louis VI by Armand Caqué.

The reverse side of the medal is engraved with a short history of Louis VI.
