A bronze medal commemorating the life of Pepin the Younger (or Pepin the Short), King of the Franks, first of the Carolingian dynasty. He was the son of Charles Martel and the father of Charlemagne.

The obverse side of the medal displays a bust of Pepin by Armand Caqué.

The reverse side of the medal is engraved with a short history of Pepin.
