Nursing staff and medical orderlies. French and Belgium army walking patients. French officers posing with nurses. Wounded arrive in a Canadian Red Cross Society ambulance and are met by nurses, doctors and orderlies. The operating theatre; leg operation. Nurse passes plaster to doctor who wraps the splinted leg of the anaesthetized soldier. Row of busy dental operating chairs. A ward with stretcher cases and the walking wounded. The kitchen, a bugler sounds the call to the mess. Orderlies carry pails of food to French, Belgium and African colonial troops.
