This work is also known as Alfred I-5, The work depicts a horse drawn omnibus in front of some buildings on Sparks Street, Ottawa. The date is determined by the fact that Alfred arrived in Canada in 1906 and the Butterworth Co. left 86 Sparks., November 1976 - the work is faded and soiled., November 1976 - When accessioned the work was removed from its gold frame & double gold mats., Artist file no. 705-1077.
