Subject depicts two men ice fishing. One man is lying on a bed of pine mneedles on the snow. He holds a fishing rod, which is sumberged in a hole in the ice. The other man is kneeling on one knee behind the fisherman. He appears to be pouring a drink out of a thermos. Both men are dressed for winter and are wearing snowshoes. Directly behind the men is a coniferous tree and a toboggan. Mountains are visible in the background. There are three fish and a tool for cutting ice in the l.l. corner of the image., Item is hinged to a secondary support and has a window mat. Below the opening of the window mat it reads: CANADIAN WINTER SCENE. / J.B. WILKINSON.
