Then, when he is enjoying himself, she decides to play a trick on him. She carefully sets two chairs side by side at the dining room table and sets out two glasses which she partially fills from a decanter. She succeeds in lighting a cigar, fills the room with its odour, and leaves it half smoked on the table. The husband ends his evening of drinking and card playing and heads for home. Hearing him enter, the wife hides in the bedroom and lets him walk into the scene she has so carefully arranged. The husband is soon beside himself and grabs a shotgun. He chases her and a row ensues. Then he grabs something from her hands and finds himself holding baby garments. Now filled with remorse, he smashes the decanter and takes her in his arms. <5mn 37s>Language:SilentNotes:Genre:COMEDYDetailed holdings information: -
