Amateur film with footage of:~Winisk, Winnipeg - various shots of equipment and operations: DC4 Trans Air Ltd. a commercial airliner stationed in Winnipeg; ground to air shots of a Sikorsky S-55 helicopter, mid-Canada line, operated by Okanagan Air Services Ltd.~Sequence of RCN flag raising on the shore of Hudson Bay.~Aerial of DC4.~Shots of supply ships, the Puffin and Raven. Supply ships were only able to run between mid-August and September due to ice conditions.~Unloading of new RCAF fire truck.~Various shots of two Bombardier enclosed ski-track vehicle, manoeuvring about the base.~Snow-blowing operation to clear airport roof.~Beaver taking off on skiis and a DC3 Trans Air taxiing in.
