Blackburn and Murray Brown, both from CFPL (AM, FM and TV) in London, Ontario. Blackburn talks about how he got his start in radio, taking over his father's radio station (CFPL) in 1935, and hiring Brown in 1945. Blackburn was president of the company and Brown became his station manager. At first the two men talk about their early days in radio then, during the second half of the interview, they discuss broadcasting regulations; the CBC as both regulatory and operational body, the current issues with FM radio and cable television, and how to get Canadians to watch Canadian programming. <59mn>Language:EnglishNotes:1.
