This consists of amateur footage of a tour of the Maritimes, as follows: departure with 17-foot trailer and 7 people; Beaumont Camp Grounds near Levis, Quebec; crossing the St. Lawrence from Levis to Quebec; Montmorency Falls higher than Niagara; the Champlain Monument at the Chateau Frontenac; the boys like climbing on cannon at The Citadel; swimming party at the camp grounds at Woodstock, New Brunswick; Magnetic Hill near Moncton, New Brunswick; ferry to Prince Edward Island (the queue was five miles long); Harbour View Camp Grounds near Rustico, Prince Edward Island; new Confederation Buildings at Charlottetown; ferry from Woods Island to Pictou, Nova Scotia; Whycacomagh Camp Ground, Cabot Trail, Cape Breton; John and Robbie are experts at hitching up; Alexander Graham Bell museum at Baddeck, Cape Breton; we dive onboard the schooner “Marion Elizabeth” at Margaree, Cape Breton; a call at the David McKeen’s near Chester, Nova Scotia; Beth gets carried away at Sweeney’s Antiques in Mahone Bay; Fort Anne at Annapolis Royal, with more cannon for James and Charlie; Smith’s Cove Camp Grounds near Digby, Nova Scotia; Trinity Church and its memorial windows (Roger Viets was the first rector in 1785); Nova Scotia amateur tournament at Digby Pines Golf Club; the two water holes, 2nd and 16th, which we three mastered; replica of the Flying Cloud, the fastest square-rigged ship ever built; the ferry “Bluenose” from Yarmouth to Bar Harbour, Maine; panorama from the top of Whiteface Mountain, taken by Robbie; and back to 459 Buena Vista; and unloading the trailer.
