A film promoting CBUT Television as an advertising medium. Includes behind the scenes views of CBUT operation and facilities, exerpts from various CBUT programmes and views of Vancouver and the BC coast. Footage largely taken from other CBUT films.~Shots include: Howe Sound, totem pole detail from Queen Charlottes, downtown microwave tower on building, downtown traffic, Queen Elizabeth Theatre and plaza, Lost Lagoon, swan in Beaver Lake, sailing in English Bay, waterskiing in Vancouver Harbour, Waterfront, loading ships, oil drilling, factories, shots of CBUT transmitter tower, CBUT clips including "Consensus", "Town talk", "Be our Guest", "Cuisine 30" and "7 O'Clock Show", producer in control room with staff.~Series of sports shots include: Bannister finishing ahead of Landy at British Empire Games - Vancouver, army amphibious landing at Jericho Park, P-51 flies overhead, Graham McMullin, Pat Suzuki, control room activity clock ticks down, audio technician at work, Perry Eaton at work in Master Control, Dave Sharpe on phone, lots of 1950's era equipment~turntable spinning record, Tom Robinson in booth, control room, monitor,~tight shots projector operation, pulling reels, John Fuller cleaning film, film editors at work with Moviescop and splicer, early Quad 2" playing, old 200 Georgia Street CBUT studio with sign outside
