Newsreel footage shot at an unspecified location in England. Wing Commander D.C.S. MacDonald of Vancouver, British Columbia and his teammates in an RCAF fighter squadron encountered four enemy fighter planes (Heinkels, Focke Wulfes and Junkers) on his 27th mission on January 27, 1944. After a running fight the squadron knocked out seven of the enemy without losing a single plane of their own. Wing Commander MacDonald got two of the Heinkels himself, his first accredited victims. These are the first films to be released following the return to their headquarters. The members received the personal congratulations of Air Marshal L.S.
