He says that the Liberty Party forsees taking over ninety percent of the cost of education from the increased revenue from Northern Ontario, but this will not happen under a socialist government, which would drive away the needed foreign capital investment.~He announces that he will be going up north to make speeches. A liberal government will see to the education of youth. He says he will lower the voting age to eighteen. He prefers the opinions of eighteen-year-olds to that of hardened old Tories who have a "congenital antipathy" to any creative notions. Hepburn mentions his federal and provincial experience, and says that George Drew cannot even get elected in his own home constituency.
