NBC tribute to Roosevelt, composed mostly of musical interludes, with commentary by H.V. Kaltenborn on contrasts between Roosevelt and Truman.~Included is: the official party arriving at Warm Springs Railway Station for the train carrying the body back to Washington and a description of reactions and events in Warm Springs.~Don Hollenbeck at Hyde Park (St. James Church) speaking of reactions at Hyde Park. Included is a note from a Poughkeepsie paer from the extra edition on the death. Mr. Van Wagner tells of his acquaintance with Roosevelt for fourty-eight years. At the conclusion is a brief summary of news from fighting fronts.~Kaltenborn compares Roosevelt Truman and remarks on the contrast between presidents.~Part of "America the Beautiful" is played on the bells of Washington Memorial National Carillon and a special service at the shrine is in tribute to the memory of Roosevelt.~Radio station XEW in Mexico City pays tribute with "Ave Maria" and CMQ in Cuba pays tribute. A message from Cuban President, Ramon Grau San Martin, is given in Spanish, with English translation over. This is followed by "Ave Maria".
