Guards play God Save the Queen and O Canada. The RCMP, the Queen and Prince Phillip are shown as crowds applaud and cheer. The Governor General and Trudeau greet the Royal Couple. Next are a flypast, the band playing God Save the Queen, a gun salute, the guards presenting arms, the Queen inspecting the guards and the Queen going to the dais to receive the royal salute. O Canada is played.~The ceremonial speeches start with comments by Gerald Regan, who tells everyone what is about to happen. Next are shots of the band and choir, Trudeau, Jean Chrétien, crowds and Trudeau welcoming the Queen and the Prince. Trudeau gives a speech.
