Album of trade cards, personal calling cards, and greeting cards. Most of the trade cards are for Toronto area and other Ontario businesses, including the Oak Hall Clothiers, Empress Sewing Machine Co., Bell Organ Co. of Guelph, and companies advertising household goods, furniture, farm machinery, pianos, etc. There are two wonderful trade cards featuring baseball as a subject, including one for Rogers Furs in Toronto with a pub about a "short stop"! The album contains approximately 110 pages. Most of the cards were printed or published by Toronto Lithographing Co.; george Bishop & Co. engravers of Montreal, the Anglo-American Novelty Co. of Toronto, or J. H. Bufford of Boston and Buffalo.
