This program is about two Jewish sculptors, Gina Tannenbaum and Misha Frid, who talk about how their work reflects their lives and backgrounds. Tannenbaum was hidden from the Nazis in Germany during the Second World War. She has created a sculpture for the holocaust memorial in Calgary. Frid, who left the Soviet Union for the artistic and cultural freedom of North America, has settled in Toronto.
