A report on the Korean War and an account of a round-the-world trip by a Seoul Daily News correspondent to countries that participated in liberating South Korea.~Following an establishing sequence of Korea, the camera focuses on the first attack by communist North Korea on 25 June 1950. Shown is the United Nations in New York and the establishment of the UN Command under General MacArthur with a montage of the insignias of participating countries. Sequences on battle action, Korean civilian casualities, battleships bombarding the coast, the capture of Seoul on 28 September 1950, and the occupation of the communist capital in October. Shown are various shots of a paratroop attack, rocket barrages, refugees, and battle scenes. The belligerents are shown meeting at Kaesong and Panmunjom, with the Armistics signed 27 July 1953. Following visits to the war cemetaries where most of the 150000 casualities are buried, the camera dwells briefly on destruction in South Korea and the reconstruction of cities and industries, including shots of a rebuilt Seoul.~The remainder of the film is an account of a "Thank you" trip by a Seoul Daily News correspondent to the sixteen countries that helped defend South Korea. Footage shows the capital cities, the laying of wreaths, and the meeting of officials. Among the cities are: Manila, Bangkok, Athens, Pretoria, Rome, Geneva, London, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Washington, New York, Ottawa, and Sydney, Australia. <30mn>
