Description:

World War II propoganda film. Scenes show Canadian troops leaving for Europe in 1914; battle scenes; and a montage of London sights. All of the performers were part of the famous "Dumbells" groupd of singers which originally included Al Plunkett, Jack Ayre and Jack McLaren. A staged sequence revives song of World War I including "Take Me Back to Dear Old Blighty", "If You Were the Only Girl in the World", "Keep the Home Fires Burning", "O What a Lovely War", and "We'll Never Let the Old Flag Down". <10mn>
