Collection search - Operational records of Winnipeg Regional Office [textual record]

The accession consists of operational records (facsimile maps and tephigrams) created by the Winnipeg Office of Atmospheric Environment Services in 1984. The facsimile maps are weather pattern data received from information gathering devices and printed out, typically showing isobars and barometric pressures. The tephigrams are printouts of radiosonde instrument readings of pressure, temperature and humidity.

The maps and tephigrams were typically produced on a daily basis for a wide variety of locations in Western Canada and the Northwest Territories, but also includes readings from neighbouring American states. The records are arranged chronologically.
