Album entitled "A Quebec Scrap-Book" which includes a reproduction of a drawing of Wilfrid Bovey by Arthur Lismer; a photo of Sarah Larkin dedicated to Bovey; and photos, prints and reproductions of the following: scenery in the Laurentians, La Mauricie, Eastern Townships, Quebec City, La Baie de Fleuve, Gaspé, Bay of Chaleur; scenes of life in Gaspé; views of agriculture, fishing, mining, arts and crafts, and architecture. Works of art include original woodcuts by Rudolphe Duguay (1891-1973); as well as reproductions of works by Clarence Gagnon, Alfred Laliberté, Frederick S. Coburn, Maurice Raymond, and André Bourgault. The album once contained a mss. entitled "France Can Be Happy Without Quebec", but this has been excised, as have two photos, a view from a window of the Chateau Frontenac, and a reproduction of a sculpture by Brunet. There are particularly fine photographs of French-Canadian fishermen and women in the album.

Custodial history:

The album was amassed by Montreal public relations man Wilfrid Bovey (1882-1956) in the 1920s or 1930s, and then it was passed to the University of Western Ontario Libraries sometime after his death. The album was deaccessioned in 1985 and sent to Dawn Munroe of the National Archives Library in that year.

The Wilfrid Bovey Fonds (more than 3 m. of textual records as well as a photo album and scrapbook) is held by the McGill University Libraries.
