The sub-series contains art records created by A.Y. Jackson. Included in this group of records are: Christmas cards including original serigraphs from the 1931 Painters in Canada series as well as sketches for possible cards and reproductions of many of his other greeting card designs; juvenilia drawings of birds, boats, medieval knights and battle scenes; some life drawings from classes he attended at the Académie Julian in Paris in the years 1907-1909; rough sketches of landscapes, rural homes and out buildings, churches, sleds, animals and villages - most sketches are loose but some are contained in notebooks and binders; examples of his commercial illustration work, including a brochure for a performance featuring the soprano Jeanne Dusseau, ca. 1927; an oil on board, dating 1907, of a night harbour scene in Quebec City; twelve small printing plates, most of which contain his signature; a small number of limited production serigraphs of his landscapes; and miscellaneous examples of the commercial use of Jackson's imagery in published material.
