The series documents Otto Lang's activities, and work as Minister of Transport from 26 September 1975 to 6 June 1979. His work impacted the following issues: Creation of Via Rail; Committed $100 million for rail line rehabilitation in Western Canada; Amendments to the National Transportation Act to remove inequities in Western Canada; The Air Canada Act; New Saskatoon Airport Terminal; Permanent Custom Facilities at the Saskatoon Airport; and the Canadian Transportation Commission Office.
