Collection search - Modified duplex numeric central registry files of Touchwood-File Hills-Qu'Appelle District Office, Saskatchewan [textual record]

This accession consists of central registry records created and/or maintained by the Touchwood-File Hills-Qu'Appelle District Office and its predecessors the File Hills/Qu'Appelle and Touchwood agencies. Box 1 contains unorganized loose correspondence dealing with topics such as staff matters and band management. Box 2 also contains unorganized records regarding birth/death/marriage certificates, wills and testament, death confirmations, interest distribution paylists; some of the records date back to 1938. Boxes 3 and 4 contain modified duplex numeric records pertaining to the following subjects: equipment and supplies, farming (15), school supplies (13-1), employment (21-7), paylists (22-8), handicrafts (14), miscellaneous expenses (22), fur supervisor's reports (23-22).

These records were originally housed in Edmonton, but were later transferred to British Columbia. They were transferred again in 2016 and are now located in the National Capital Region and are available for consultation there.
