The series contains predominantly publicity portraits of Timothy Findley, often with his partner Bill Whitehead in various locations including: their home, Stone Orchard near Cannington, Ontario; on various stage locations, including on the set of "The Rivals".

The bulk of the publicity portraits were produced by contemporary Canadian photographers: Paul Orenstein, Robert C. Ragsdale, Wayne Cuddington, Paul J. Hoeffler, Eugène Taillefer, Rolf Kalfman, Robert Lansdale, Lutz Dille, Gary Gellert, Lloyd Erlick, Jonathan White, Elisabeth Feryn, Tony Hauser, Sam Kanga, Dick Loek, Robert Ragsdale, Jerry Bauer, Fred Phipps, Erin Elder, Andrew McKinna, Rafael Goldchain, Danny Ogilvie, Kate Williams, Keith Beatty, Ron Bull, John Coulbourn, Steven Somerville, Adine Sagalyn, Alan Dayton, Jill Glessing, Greg Tjepkema and David Middleton.

There many images of Findley at his home, Stone Orchard, with views of the interior and gardens, including photographs with family dogs and cats. Also included are street scenes of Cannington, Ontario and photos used in Carol Roberts' biography "Timothy Findley: Scenes from a Life".
