Sub-series consists of letters received by Georgina Young Jackson and some miscellaneous papers. Included are letters from her son H.A.C. Jackson, her parents, her father-in-law, and one letter from her husband, as well as miscellaneous letters including ones from family friends before her marriage and later ones from her children. The miscellaneous papers include a list of her bridal presents, dance cards, and her death notice.

Jackson, Georgina, 1852-1921 : Georgina Young was the daughter of Alexander Young and Anna Eliza Keachie. She married Henry A. Jackson (1850-1931), one of the sons of Henry F.J. Jackson and Isabella Murphy. They settled in Montreal and had six children, H.A.C., Ernest, Alexander Young (A.Y.), William, Isabella and Katherine. Henry A. Jackson worked in various jobs throughout his life and spent many years in Chicago, leaving his wife behind in Montreal to raise their children.
