This album, comprised of 44 pages on which 45 photographs are mounted, is a continuation of album 63; views of Resolute Bay on Cornwallis Island, N.W.T., including many aerial shots. The images are mostly of the Canada Weather Bureau and the R.C.A.F. buildings at the Resolute Weather Station. The photos are indicated as being on loan from the Department of Resources and Development, Northern Administration, signed by J.W. Huston. Stamped as restricted.

The following places can be found in the album: Resolute Bay, Cornwallis Island, N.W.T. (including aerials); R.C.A.F. runway (aerial); storage quarters (made of 2 aircraft bodies); supply warehouse; sleeping quarters (Jamesway, Jacobson, and Quonset huts); garage and power building (interiors too); sleeping quarters for Weather Bureau staff; R.C.A.F. buildings; Resolute Weather Station; Claxton Point (aerial); Cape Dungeness (aerial); seismographic recording building; entrance to underground instrument shelter; operations building; shelters (Raywind and Inflation); galley of main dining hall; buildings 4 and 12.

The following events can be found in the album: unloading activities from vessel; laying foundation for erection of building; astro party at work during Arctic Resupply Operations, Claxton Point.

Note on the state of conservation:

One of the photographs has paper glued to it, which lists the equipment found in the photo. There should be interleafing.

Custodial history:

This album was originally part of accession 1974-366, which had been integrated into 1973-357. It has since been separated back into the two individual accessions of 1973-357 and 1974-366.
