The album, entitled, "Among the Islands of Georgian Bay, July, August 1888," documents a family boating trip around Georgian Bay. The name inscribed on the album is W.M. Booth. Some of the photographs document the lumber industry around Georgian Bay at that time. Research done by the donor indicates that most of the photographs were probably taken in the North Channel of Lake Huron, between Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, and the area around Killarney and Manitoulin Island in Ontario.
