A picture of commercial traffic at Fort William.~Includes footage of: lake freighters being unloaded alongside the jetty at Fort William; men loading steel tracks onto an open train wagon; giant grain elevators under construction with finished elevators and freighters in the background; long spouts leading from the grain elevators pouring grain into the freighters hold; two men with long ladles taking samples of the grain; Mount McKay near Fort William; mine below the mountain; open wagon being flipped sideways to unload coal onto the ground; 90-ton steam shovel loading blast rock onto open freight cars (3000 tons of rock per day is handled by this mine); rock being carried by conveyor belt to crushing machine; large machines washing and separating rock; and freight train being loaded with crushed rock to be used for road construction in eastern and western Canada.
