Memorial University Art Gallery : The Memorial University Art Gallery was established in 1961 as part of its community outreach activities. The gallery was renamed the Art Gallery of Newfoundland and Labrador (AGNL) in 1994. They are a wholly-owned corporation of Memorial University of Newfoundland, run by a Board of Directors appointed from the general community and the University. The gallery presents exhibitions of international and contemporary Canadian visual art and historical art and crafts, with a special emphasis on arts of Newfoundland and Labrador.
