Series consists of Canadian stamps and envelopes and include 10 postal covers with Government overprint "G" Canadian postage stamps (1958-1959); free franking privileges from the Department of Agriculture with T.A. Taggart authorization (1958); the House of Commons special cancellation (1958) and Quebec Provincial Government meter cancellation (1958). The series also contains postal covers used in regualr Canadian mail in 1958, including "barrel" type cancellation from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; a commemorative first day cover issued for Stephen Leacock stamp of 1969. The commemorative cachet was prepared by the McGill Fund Council.

THe series includes are international postal covers cancelled in Montreal between 1958-1971. The postmarks include A.M.F. (Air Mail Facility) nos. 3, 4, 9, 11, 12, 44, 48, 49, 63, 80. The A.M.F. were postal installations staffed by postal employees, located at an airport and equipped for the receipt, sorting and dispatch of mail. Regular, express and registered postmarks are also included. There are also some registration postmarks from Toronto, Terminal A post office. The series also contains a "Centennial Box" issued in 1967 by the Post Office Department and designed to be storage containers for postage stamps, stickers and postal information.
