Fonds consists of moving images divided into a separate series entitled Ottawa-Carleton Regional Media Centre.

Also included in fonds are films on machine shop work. Titles include: The lathe; Machining a tool steel V block; Plain indexing & cutting a spur gear; Planing a dovetail side; Selection of dimensions; Tools & rules for precision measuring; The world still turns; Grinding a taper; Broaching an internal keyway; Operations on vertical drill: countersinking counterboring and spotfacing; Turning a taper with tailstock set over.

In addition, fonds includes photographs depicting views of various French-language secondary schools operated by the Ottawa Board of Education, Ottawa, Ontario.

Ottawa Board of Education : The Ottawa Board of Education (OBE) came into being when, on 1 January 1970 the Ottawa Public School Board was absorbed by the OBE. In January 1998 the OBE and the Carleton Board of Education merged to form the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB). The decision to merge was the result of the provincial government's decision to further consolidate school boards across Ontario. The OCDSB is the National Capital's English public school board, and the largest of four district school boards serving the Ottawa-Carleton region.
