Sonolab : Sonolab, a film laboratory and sound dubbing studio, was established in the 1970s as a subsidiary of Télé-Métropole. Based in Montreal, Quebec, Sonolab offered a range of audio-visual post needs for features, tv series and commercials. In the late 1990s Télé-Métropole sold Sonolab to the post and production service company Cotivec Group (a subsidiary of Astral Communications). In 2000 Covitec Group and Covitec's principal shareholder, Astral Media, sold 100% of Covitec's shares to Technicolor.
