Series consists of postally-used military covers sent to and from Miss Georgina Simpson Ross, Canadian volunteer in French hospitals in Cannes and Meaux, France, during World War One. These covers bear various British World War One military field post office and censor postal marking.

Also included in this series is a pre-stamped 1901 postcard from "The Country Gentleman", Albany, New York, addressed to Mrs. A. Davidson Ross, Montreal, Quebec, and a pre-stamped 1889 postcard from the National Park Bank addressed to the Union Bank of Canada, Quebec.
