Scenes of St-Mihiel, St-Quentin and the Second Battle of the Marne.~Two artillery guns fire in quick succession. German prisoners carry in the wounded. There are dead in the trenches. Troops cross the Marne in a large boat, others cross a floating bridge. The original bridge lays destroyed. Chateau Thierry under light shelling as troops enter. French troops mill around a field kitchen. American troops wash their clothes. Close-up of soldiers getting their heads shaved by army barbers. Women of the Salvation Army distribute food. Sequence on the arrival of more American troops and the American warehouses at Gievres. Pershing signs orders at his desk. Troops move forward in trucks. Distant view of Montsec and the men in the trenches. Shell fire directed by periscope. Silhouette of a wire cutting party. Troops go over the top and advance with a tank. A line of Sopwith biplanes stand with their engines running. Aerial footage of a dog-fight. A Fokker DVII lays on the ground, a close-up of the captured pilot. Caissons roll forward.
