General note:

The records in this accession document the Strathcona Trust. The Strathcona Trust dates from 1910 when Lord Strathcona of Mount Royal, the Canadian High Commissioner to Great Britain, donated 00,000 to the Dominion government. The Trust was established to promote citzenship and patriotism in Canadian schools by physical training, rifle shooting and military drill. The Strathcona Trust still helps individual cadet corps purchase equipment.
