Fonds consists of the following photographs: portrait of Christopher Chapman Rogers, one of the first members of the Governor-General's Foot Guards; Carrs and Rogers family photos, ca. 1890; portraits of the Rogers family that include cartes-de-visites, snap shots and one Mikado panel including that of Susannah Monk Rogers, Mrs. Victor Vivian Rogers, Harold Percy Rogers in uniform, as well as Victor Vivian Rogers, Charles Rogers, Edith Rogers, and Christopher Chapman Rogers. Photos taken by Pittaway, Whiten, and American carte-de-visites by Ryder, and Glosser. Also documented are the first Mrs. George Carss and Leila M.C.J. Carss, later Mrs. R.J.E. Scott.
Photographs also include images of soldier's graves and disposition of the dead, Battleford, Saskatchewan; four albums of photographs by Robert John Elliot Scott of Montreal, Quebec, including a trip by rail from Montreal to western Canada documenting Canadian cities, mountains, and prairies; individuals from the Scott, Rogers, and Carss families of Ottawa and Montreal; the Rideau Lakes and Canal, Ontario; Montreal, Quebec; Valcartier Army Camp; Niagra Falls and vicinity; Rideau Ferry; Saratoga Springs, New York. Photos by Marion Rogers and Topley include travel shots, a portrait of Gordon Rogers, and photos relating to Marion Rogers' career as a journalist.
Fonds also includes photographs of Union Church, Bells Corners, Ontario; Billings Bridge flood, Ottawa, Ontario; musical group "The Serenaders", Ottawa; portrait of Elizabeth Nemec of Ottawa; various churches in the Ottawa Valley. Photos by Pittaway & Jarvis, Notman and Townend include cabinet portraits of the Carrs, Scott, and Hubbell families; portraits of Mr. John Lawrence Power O'Hanley, Mrs. O'Hanley, Robert Carss and his wife Sarah Ann Willis (née Moorehouse), and Clarence Knowles Carss. Other photographs depict Trinity Church and Rectory, Ottawa; interior and exterior views of St. John's Anglican Church, 6th line, Huntley Township, Ontario.
Medallic items include: a love token brooch made from a Provincial Model School silver medal, 1898; love token pendant made from Victoria Canadian 10 cent piece, 1882; love token brooch made from 1882 U.S. silver dollar; 2 copper badges of the South Saskatchewan Regiment; Provincial (Ontario) Model School medal; copper brooch of Admiral Horatio Nelson's Flagship "Victory", 1805; Dominion of Canada Rifle Association medal, 1868; Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long Service medal; South Saskatchewan XLVI overseas Canada military badge; and one Charlottetown Conference Centennial medal, 1964.
