Description:

Television documentary on icebergs and the perils of off-shore oil drilling in arctic waters. Host Dr. Robert Fournier examines the dangers posed by icebergs to oil exploration and drilling rigs and the measures taken by oil companies to alleviate the problem. Off-shore oil fields such as Hibernia are discussed and the potential hazards of off-shore drilling to the environment, fishing resources and to traditional native cultures are pointed out.
