Dramatizes the conversion of Domina, member of the Saoras tribe in Koranjettay on the east coast of India, from his native religion to Christianity. The story traces his life from childhood, when he once saw a spirit ghost, to adulthood, when he becomes a missionary for the Canadian Baptist Mission.~The son of the village priestess, Domina was destined to become a priest. He becomes one and enjoys the respect of his position serving the people. However, he soon loses faith following a series of events including: the death of a man he could not help with traditional priest practices; efforts to become literate (considered taboo for tribesman) and futile attempts to save a dying child as his faith began to waver.~Following a period of despondence including some drug abuse, he reasserts himself in the tribal council, passing harsh judgements on those brought before him. Briefly, he looks to Hinduism to find solace but is again disappointed. Eventually through the help of some herdsman he finds Jesus and the Christians at the mission.~During his mission work villagers come to him seeking knowledge of Christianity and he brings them the message; "one by one they came OUT OF DARKNESS and into the glorious light of the gospel". <32mn 11s>
