A commentator talks about the launch leaving the seaplane. A crowd applauds the arrival of the crew. Captain Bennett addresses the audience briefly. The navigator says that the first 10 hours of the flight were rough. The commentator speaks about the location. Captain Bennett talks about his leaving for New York if he ever gets away. There are words of welcome by Samuel J. Hungerford, President of Canadian National Railways, and J.A. Wilson, representing Canada's Department of Transport. Wilson welcomes Bennett and the co-pilot on behalf of the Dominion of Canada. He refers to plans in the coming year to establish a regular service between Canada and England.
