The sub-series consists of records created and maintained by the London and Port Stanley Railway. In response to allegations into irregularities and inefficiency in the operation of the London and Port Stanley Railway, an investigation was held under Judge Joseph Wearing in April, May and June 1931. The findings of the investigation indicated that the allegations were without foundation. The records consist of the transcript of the investigation, newspaper clippings commenting on the result and notes summarizing the railway's case.
