Southern New England Railway Company (1911-1926) : The Southern New England Railway Company was incorporated on 5 May 1911 under the laws of the state of Rhode Island to build a 27 mile railway line from a junction with the Southern New England Railroad Corporation at the Massachusetts/Rhode Island border to Providence, Rhode Island. Construction started in May 1912 and was suspended in November and never recommenced. The Company's charter expired on 1 July 1926. RG30 General Inventory
