The series consists of manuscripts, both typed and handwritten. Included is a photocopy of a typescript tribute to McLaren by Munro.

Additional material includes typescripts of speeches prepared by Norman McLaren and Grant Munro for a McLaren retrospective festival in Spain 1980, and photocopies of an unattributed verse commemorating a fire at the National Film Board, notes on the film "Canon" by Guy Glover, notes on McLaren by Munro possibly for a tribute at Canada House 1987, and Munro's notes for a speech at Concordia University 1987.
