Series consists of bound records of various departmental committees concerned with immigration, including the Immigration-Labour Committee (1947-1950), the Departmental and Interdepartmental Advisory Committees on Immigration (1950-1958) and their subcommittees. The records consist of agendas, minutes of proceedings, attachments, and original correspondence. These copies were accumulated in the office of the Director of the Immigration Branch and the Deputy Minister of Citizenship and Immigration.
