Sub-series consists of daily diaries and journals, logs, accounts, and various records related to northern detachments. The daily diaries are from Alexandria Fiord, 1953-1964; Pond Inlet, 1932-1965; Resolute Bay, 1953-1954; Craig Harbour, 1932-1939; Fort Walsh, 1880; Adjutant's Office, 1938; and unknown detachments, 1924-1930. The daily journals are from the launch "Caroline", 1910; Whitehorse, 1915-1916; H Division HQ, Tagish, Upper Yukon, 1899-1900; Smith Landing Detachment, Alberta, 1909; and unknown detachments, 1922-1926. The account books relate to H.M.S. Vidette, 1904; Yukon, 1897-1899; H Division, 1902-1904; and Dawson, B Division,1899-1902. Also included are records relating to general orders, Yukon Territory, 1901-1903; patrols and milage of the St. Roch Detachment, 1933-1948; monthly returns of drugs and hospital supplies, H Division, Whitehorse, 1905-1907; mileage, individual and horse mileage, Yukon, H Division, 1899-1900; and lists of patrols, detachment dogs, meals and feed, 1928-1930.

The sub-series also includes Commissioner's desk diaries, 1959-1968; logs from RCMP HQ 1953-1974; Air Division log books, 1944-1969; as well as records relating to the married strength of the force, 1946-1967; and establishment positions and ranks, 1960-1968.
