Series consists of records that document the history of the Canadian Home and School Federation. Most of this material was collected by Joan Mansfield, past-president and historian of the Federation, in the preparation of her "History of the Canadian Home and School and Parent-Teacher Federation, 1964-1996". It includes a manuscript draft of the history; a manuscript history of the Quebec Home and School Federation; historian's files; biographical material and photographs of presidents and other officers of the national federation; newspaper clippings; records relating to the commemorative cairn in Baddeck, Nova Scotia (including a photograph of it); and other items illustrative of the Federation's history.
